“Sites were spacious and clean, sites have reasonable room between them and the boat launch nearby is very nice. Would definitely recommend if you're staying in the Three Lakes region.”
“Well maintained small, quiet campground ”

Laurel Lake Campground sits about seven miles east of the town of Three Lakes, just off State Highway 32, in a stand of tall pines and younger oak trees at roughly 1,630 feet elevation. The campground contains 12 total campsites all configured to accommodate either tents or RVs arranged in two small clusters (Area 1 has eight sites; Area 2 has four). Seven of the sites can be reserved in advance while five are kept for first-come, first-served visitors, so plan ahead in summer weekends if you want a guaranteed spot. Each site includes a picnic table and a fire ring with a grill, and the campground provides vault toilets and a potable water source. A boat landing inside the campground gives direct access to the lake; there's no maintained swimming beach, so any swimming is typically done from a boat. Laurel Lake is part of the Three Lakes Eagle River chain, a network of 28 connected lakes that together offer nearly 11,500 acres of water and 174 miles of shoreline. The chain allows both motorized and non-motorized boating and supports a full range of angling opportunities musky, walleye, northern pike, largemouth and smallmouth bass, rock bass, perch, crappie and other panfish are commonly targeted. Beyond boating and fishing, visitors can use the campground as a base for wildlife viewing, paddling, and exploring nearby trails and recreation areas in the Chequamegon Nicolet National Forest. For current fees, seasonal availability and any access notices, check the Forest Service recreation pages before you go.
