“We love this camp ground. It’s perfect for families and easy to get to all the lakes and attractions nearby. The bathrooms were very clean and the grounds were well maintained. ”
“This wonderful site is in the heart of June lake, quite and beautiful. Host also very kind and helpful. We will stay again and again.”
“Generators running practically all day long. Noisy neighbors. One male got into a loud extended argument with someone using much foul language. Informed host who didn't care.”

Longest RV site listed: 45 ft.
Reversed Creek Campground sits in the June Lake area of the eastern Sierra at about 7,600 feet, shaded by a stand of mature aspen and ringed by rugged peaks that reach into the 11,000 12,000-foot range. The site layout is quietly private: 16 campsites arranged around a single loop, each set well apart from its neighbors and sized to accommodate vehicles up to 30 feet, and all 16 sites are configured for both RVs and tents. Water-based recreation is immediate Gull Lake is directly across from the campground entrance and June Lake is a short drive away, both offering reliable rainbow trout fishing and boating; there's a boat ramp and marina at nearby June Lake Campground and a swimming beach at Oh Ridge Campground. Trails and waterways branch out from the area for paddling down Mono Creek or day hikes to Mammoth Rock, Sherwin Lakes, Gaylor Lake and on toward the Ansel Adams Wilderness; scenic drives on the June Lake Loop put multiple high mountain overlooks and lake views within a single afternoon. Facilities are straightforward and oriented to self-sufficient campers: potable drinking water, flush toilets, and bear-proof food lockers are provided (note that bear-proof storage is required for food and scented items in this landscape). There are no site hookups listed, so plan on relying on your own power and waste arrangements. Reservations are handled through Recreation.gov; campers should check that site for current fees, seasonal opening dates and conditions, and to make bookings be aware that once your reservation start date has begun, neither the Recreation.gov Contact Center nor the campground manager can modify your reservation. The campground is accessed from U.S. Highway 395 via Highway 158 into the June Lake area, roughly 350 miles north of Los Angeles and about 150 miles south of Reno, making it a convenient high-elevation base for exploring Mono Lake, Yosemite for day trips, or longer forays into the Ansel Adams Wilderness.
