“a great place, everything is clean. The showers are great ”
“Amazing meadow views, beautiful starry skies, nice sized sites, and great camp hosts. The hot showers were such a life-saver.”
“Easy walk to the visitor center & sunset point. Nice campground. Was thankful for the shower. Due to the elevation, it is chilly at night/early AM.”

Perched on the rim above a half-mile deep geologic amphitheater, Point Supreme Campground sits at roughly 10,000 feet and puts you within easy reach of the park's sculpted hoodoos, meadows of seasonal wildflowers and the gnarled, slow-growing bristlecone pines that hold their place on the plateau. The facility is small and intimate 25 sites in total, with 18 set up for RVs and 7 for tents and is open only in the summer months, typically from mid-June through late-September. Three of the park's four main hiking trails start within walking distance of the campground, and daily ranger programs, guided hikes and interpretive activities such as wildflower identification and junior ranger offerings give you plenty to do during daylight; in the evenings many campers come out for the clear night skies and night-time astronomy programs or informal star-gazing. Practical amenities and rules are straightforward: restrooms with flush toilets are provided, showers with warm water are available but require a code (ask the campground host), and firewood is sold onsite by donation. Two campsites are wheelchair accessible. Expect to pay the park entrance fee of $10 per person for visitors 16 and older at the Information Center on the south end of the park before checking in; campsite rates are $24 per night (reduced to $12 per night with an Interagency Senior Pass). Reservations carry a $10 service fee to change; cancellations more than 48 hours before arrival incur a $10 cancellation fee, while cancellations within 48 hours are subject to the $10 fee plus the first night's charge. Note that campsites reserved online cannot be exchanged for a walk-in site after arrival. If you need more specifics, call the park for facility information at (435) 986-7120; Cedar Breaks is also positioned for day trips to nearby destinations Brian Head, Dixie National Forest and Cedar City are close by, and Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks are reachable within roughly an hour to two hours' drive depending on route.
