Eastbank Campground sits on the Georgia Florida line along Lake Seminole, where long fingers of shoreline thread through pine and hardwood hills. The campground contains 60 campsites spread across three loops Loop A (15 sites), Loop B (21 sites) and Loop C (24 sites) with 58 sites set up to accommodate both RVs and tents and 2 sites designated for tent camping only. Most campsites have electric and water hookups; elsewhere on site you'll find flush toilets and showers, drinking water, a laundry area and a dump station. For anglers and boaters the campground is a convenient base: Lake Seminole's 37,500 acres and roughly 376 miles of shoreline support extensive stump and grass beds where largemouth, hybrid, striped and white bass thrive alongside catfish, crappie and bream (more than 79 species have been identified). Eastbank provides a boat ramp, dock and fish-cleaning station, plus a group picnic shelter for larger gatherings. The area supports a broad menu of outdoor activities boating, water sports, fishing, hiking and biking are common, and wildlife viewing is rewarding if you watch for bald eagles, hawks, waterfowl, raccoons and the occasional alligator. The campground is open year-round; nightly campsites are $28 and the park accepts America the Beautiful Senior Lifetime, Senior Annual and Access Passes. Reservations and changes are handled through Recreation.gov (or by phone at 1-877-444-6777); note that a $10 service fee applies to most changes and cancellations and late cancellations (the day before or the day of arrival) incur the $10 fee plus forfeiture of the first night's use fee. No-shows may be assessed a $20 service fee and forfeit use fees, and refund requests must be filed within 14 days of your scheduled departure. To reach Eastbank from I-10, take Exit 166 (Chattahoochee) toward Highway 90 and follow local signs toward Bainbridge/ Bolivar Street to the campground entrance on Eastbank Road.
