Easter is an excellent family celebration, especially when it coincides with your children's spring break. Throughout the country there are Easter celebrations which involve dyed eggs, Easter egg hunts, lots of candy and delicious food. The parade features a variety of floats and creative displays celebrating Easter and the beauty of spring. Easter Surfing Festival, Cocoa Beach, Florida
For the adventurous Easter travelers the Easter Surfing Festival is the ideal celebration to attend. From April 6-8 there are surfing competitions for people of all ages. These competitions take place at Cocoa Beach Pier and Shepard Park. All winners of surfing competitions receive a trophy.

Perhaps the most well know and iconic Easter Egg activity in the United States is the White House Easter Egg Roll started by President Hayes, in 1878. Each year children are chosen by lottery to participate in the roll. This year will be the 134th year of the event and it will be held on April 9.
